Score #26: To be water
“Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water. Put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. Put water into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow or creep or drip or crash. Be water, my friend.” (Bruce Lee)
The earth and also our body are made up mainly of water. Even so, we are so far from understanding how much we are influenced, governed and enlivened by the waters. There are many ways to get to know water. We can know about its physical-chemical properties, its flows and movements, its tides, its rain regimes. We can look at the social issues of water. We can also think about the climate crisis and how water plays a crucial role. However, we also must not forget to connect emotionally with water. With its deepest bodily teachings, with its beauty, and with the pleasures it provides for the lives of all beings.
